skiff america plans
Sacagawea is now complete and ready to explore. it has taken about 20 months to complete the boat since i received the plans for the skiffamerica 20 from kilburn adams of st louis, missouri. the west offer's some of the greatest water journeys and variety of climates in the country and i plan to explore as much as i can with sacagawea.. I have considerable pride in both the design of skiffamerica and the actual boat. at this point i can say i am just as proud of what i have created with the plans. if i am to be criticized, it is that i am asking too little for these plans but the reality of the market is that few people would buy them if priced at their real value.. Circumstances have compelled me to sell my beloved nora alice, a skiffamerica 20 i built in 2004-2005 from plans drawn by kilburn adams. the skiffamerica 20 has been described as a shallow draft modified skiff with a large cockpit and a walk-thru cabin.as specified by mr. adams, it is built of lloyd`s of london certified okoume marine plywood, epoxy encapsulated and reinforced with fib.
skiff america plans Hey folks, in the event anyone is interested, i'm building a skiff america 20. my build blog can be found here: https://hamnegger.wordpress.com. I am looking to purchase a redwing 18 or a skiffamerica 20. the redwing designer karl told me the redwing with a 9.9 hp will get a top speed of 6 - 7 knots. using a 15 hp motor will push her to 8 or 9 knots. a 20 hp motor to 12 and be pushing a wall of water and leaving a huge wake. when reading about the skiffamerica 20, one individual was getting 25 mph with a yamaha 25 hp 4 stroke..
