oyster skiff plans
Hello all, i'm taking a crack at my first boat, reuel parker's 14' cape cod oyster skiff. there is a good write up of one in the latest issue of "small boats". mine is not going to be that nice... this is defiantly a "starter" boat. the goal is to be on the water at the beginning of the summer. i will use the boat mostly on a small lake near my apartment.. No scale. a plan showing the plan view and inboard profile with superimposed sheer lines of a 40ft mumbles oyster skiff (circa 1865). the plan was drawn by philip jesse oke after designs by william paynter of st ives. the annotations and corrections in red were done by j. c. evans, to whom oke submitted his draught for corrections. date made. ϻ
