diablo skiff plans
The diablo is looking to be the top contender today. i'm sure i'll flip flop between designs before settling on one. i did order plans for the jericho bay lobster skiff just this week. it sure is about as pretty as a 15 foot boat can get. but i'll have to consider time commitment and $$.. diablo skiff plans The bolger diablo. outboard utility. next page. diablo is design #432 from phil bolger and friends, a handy 15' outboard utility. judging from the results of web searches, quite a few of these boats have been built. i decided to put one together as another filler project while waiting for epoxy to cure or paint to dry on my fastbrick project. The 18ft diablo grande looks like a fair craft for this use, with the nice sharp bow and narrow foot, but is she too tender to fish all the way around her in the open configuration? i'm kind of wavering back and forth between this design and the clam skiff, as i already own the book with plans and build keys for both..
